The Curalux CLCN GUV55WS is a specialist 55 W ultraviolet C (UV C) germicidal fluorescent tube engineered to deliver powerful disinfection performance in controlled environments. Producing UV C radiation at germicidal wavelengths, this tube is ideal for installation inside purpose built sterilisation equipment where reduction of bacteria, viruses, mould and other microorganisms is required. UV C light disrupts the DNA/RNA of microbes, rendering them unable to reproduce — helping improve hygiene in air handling units, water treatment chambers and enclosed surface sanitation systems.
This lamp is not intended for general lighting or open area use; it must be fitted in properly designed fixtures that fully contain the UV C output and prevent exposure to operators.
